OUR FIRST EXAM DATE FOR THE CTL EXAM IS WEDNESDAY MARCH 14, FROM 6PM TO 10PM.

Please make a reservation for the first session by emailing me to confirm you are going to come, BY MONDAY MARCH 12!

We have about 20 seats, and I want to make extra seats available for student lab work if there are any.

I suggest that you take the first module General Management Principles and Techniques if you are unsure about what to take. You have to obtain your passwords before the session by following directions in this post.

I’ve lined up six dates for administering the CTL exams. If you want to have a shot at finishing all modules before you leave here, you could plan to sit at each date. when we get closer, I will ask each of you to make reservation for a given date. I don’t want to show up and find no one here.

I have arranged for the first online exam session.

Wednesday March 14 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in CLS 105 computer lab.

In order to take an exam that night you must:

1. Register for the CTL Certificate with ASTL.
2. Pay the money: $25 for one year student membership in ASTL and $150 for the exam fee, good for 5 years.
3. Get your passwords from them for the online exam you wish to take that night.
4. Find the sample exams from the online exam website.

You cannot take the exam without the passwords– no exceptions. The exam is online, and without valid passwords to the exam site and for the individual exam you are taking, you cannot take it. You must send in the fee in advance, you cannot do this online at the last minute.

Of course you should choose the module you wish to take, and plan your study program so you will be ready. The sample exams will be very important in guiding what you have to revisit or relearn to do well in the exam. And you need to pay to get access to them.

A group of you can study together. The library will have the relevant books on reserve in my name. If you don’t know which one to choose, I suggest the first one:
