COAST Student Awards for Marine Science Research – Undergraduate and Graduate Students

In an effort to increase undergraduate and graduate student participation in faculty-mentored marine and coastal research throughout the CSU, COAST will provide undergraduate student awards (up to $2500) and graduate student awards (up to $3000) to CSU students engaged in marine and coastal research with a COAST faculty member.

Support is available for either the 2010-2011 Academic Year or Summer 2011. For academic year funding, review of applications begins 10/15/2010 and will continue until all funds are awarded or January 31, 2011 at 5 pm PST, whichever comes first. For Summer 2011, applications must be received by February 28, 2011 at 5 pm PST.
