Supply chain network design using decision support and information systems is a tricky process. It compares the global supply chain cost and service levels for different scenarios and network structures.

This case study from MIT was prepared for a specific company’s global distribution network, but they claim their model could be applied in other areas. It was created by graduate students and professors in Brazil with the company’s help, data, and inputs.
