New Tool Brings Logistics Carbon Emissions into Sharp Focus

Serious thought is being given to emisions caused by logistics. Most of it is in Europe. So it is not hard to see why MIT in Zaragoza is bringing out a simpler tool to allow firms with complex movements of goods to visualize and calculate their emissions in a standardized way.

California Sustainable Freight Action Plan

California has released its Sustainable Freight Action Plan. It’s a great project, and as usual, the state is a leader, here making significant moves guiding improvement in the freight transportation triple bottom line.

Injecting sunshine to produce oil at Miraah Project

This article shows an innovative approach to the problems of oil production, using solar to heat the recovery water. It saves more energy than all the electric cars in America, and eliminates use of enough natural gas to heat over 200,000 homes.
